A rescued piece of American costume-jewelry history, reimagined for today. The Shellshine Hoops are made with vintage lucite forms discovered in a Rhode Island warehouse—a nod to the state once known as the costume-jewelry capital of the world. Their softly luminous, shell-like material has a glossy finish reminiscent of enamel, while our hand-dyed colors bring new life to these beautiful old plastics. Each pair is fitted with surgical steel posts using a custom machine we created specifically to repurpose vintage finds like these.
